Congrats to President Martin Mann…. At a recent Kiwanis divisional council meeting, Martin Mann of the Kiwanis Club of Huntsville Muskoka was acclaimed as Lt. Governor- Elect of Division 8, in the Eastern Canada & Caribbean District of Kiwanis. His two-year term as Lt. Governor will commence October 1, 2021.

LGE Martin Mann will oversee one of 28 Kiwanis Divisions in Eastern Canada & the Caribbean and as such be the contact person for the Governor during their term. His role includes meeting with all the clubs in Division 8, installing the board of directors, presenting awards and recognition and attending conventions.

The clubs of Division 8 - Huronia currently consists of Huntsville Muskoka, Barrie, Orillia, Owen Sound, South Georgian Bay and Meaford. Our goal this term is growth….to consider adding clubs in the Alliston, South Muskoka and Midland areas.

Martin shared that their focus remains on serving the children of Muskoka and beyond through the Kiwanis school-based programs as well as continuing their partnerships with organizations like the Salvation Army, YWCA, Shania Kids Can, Staples Canada and our Chambers of Commerce.
