| Using sport and competition as a starting point, the Subaru IRONKIDS program is designed to inspire children to embrace active, positive and healthy lifestyles. Young athletes aged 3-15 can participate in a variety of events, including triathlon, aquathlon, duathlon and running races, many of them held in the days leading up to the Subaru IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 races. The events encourage participation, safety, fitness and fun. There are three Subaru IRONKIDS events on the calendar. The Subaru IRONKIDS Canada Fun Run, which takes place in Whistler, BC, consists of two different events, a 1-km and a 1.5-km run. The Subaru Mont Tremblant IRONKIDS Fun Run includes a 1-km and a 5-km run. And the Subaru Muskoka IRONKIDS Fun Run features a 500-m run for toddlers and a 1-km run for all other junior athletes. |
